Adjuvant Study on O-146S Antigen Published!

Coral Biotechnology’s next-generation water-in-oil (W/O) emulsion adjuvant CORALVAC RZ 528 was evaluated in a scientific study for its potential to induce strong immune responses in poultry vaccines.

The focus of the research was to compare the efficacy of inactivated vaccines developed against Newcastle Disease Virus (NDV), a major global threat to the poultry industry.

Vaccines evaluated in the study:

• Formulation 1: Inactivated vaccine prepared from Lasota + Genotype VIId NDV strains using CORALVAC RZ 528.
• Formulation 2: Commercial inactivated vaccine prepared from the same strains with Montanide ISA 71 adjuvant.

Results:

• Both adjuvants provided 100% protection against NDV.
• The vaccine formulated with CORALVAC RZ 528 showed the highest hemagglutination inhibition (HI) titer at 6 weeks.
• No morbidity or mortality was observed in the vaccinated groups.

Conclusion:

This study demonstrates that CORALVAC RZ 528, developed by Coral Biotechnology, is a strong alternative for poultry vaccines, offering both cost-effectiveness and high immune responses.
